The Role
This temporary position focuses on maintaining and restocking 610 coffee stations across 3 buildings, along with general cleaning and upkeep duties. You'll ensure coffee stations and nearby areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked, while providing support to the Facilities Department and building occupants.
Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Days: Monday Friday
Pay: $19.45 per hour
Assignment Length: 36 months (while site cafeteria is under construction)
Site Requirement: All employees must be U.S. Citizens and must successfully complete and clear a background check for employment and site badging.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Maintain and restock 610 coffee stations across 3 buildings.
Brew coffee and ensure all pots are full and stations are ready for use.
Receive and manage coffee purchase orders (POs); work with the Facilities Department to plan orders based on usage trends.
Unpack and organize coffee and pantry supplies using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Keep pantry and kitchenette areas clean and disinfected.
Use a provided cart to transport items between buildings and stations.
Split coffee upkeep into two 2-hour blocks (morning and after lunch); perform general cleaning duties between and after those times.
Clean assigned office and general areas — including dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Communicate effectively with the Facilities Department and provide friendly, professional service.
Follow all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines; on-the-job training provided.
What It Takes To Be Successful
- Good verbal/written communication and customer service skills. (Spanish a plus)
- Time management skills and organizational skills
- Previous commercial, janitorial, or hospitality cleaning experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
