We are looking for a competitive Field Sales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside Sales Representative, they will also research and report on competition and competitive activity and other market forces.

Responsibilities

·      Identifying and communicating with qualified prospects, both at an individual site and property management/ownership level

·      Closing – turning those qualified prospects into satisfied customers, and retaining those customers through repeated contract cycles

·      Building solid relationships with customers and prospects that can lead to referrals and renewals

·      Evaluating customers skills, needs and building productive long-lasting relationships

·      Leveraging existing relationships to grow customer base

·      “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc.)

·      Forecast sales, develop sales strategies/models and evaluate and communicate their effectiveness

·      Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships

·      Meet personal and team sales targets

·      Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads

·      Attend trade shows, meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

·      Report and provide feedback to management

·      Maintain and expand client base within your assigned territory

Requirements

·      Track record of over-achieving quota

·      Experience in Sales Administration procedures and hospitality and/or travel industry experience are preferred

·      Exceptional customer service skills

·      Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, employees and customers

·      Strong problem resolution, leadership, diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills required

·      Strong analytical skills including data and financial analysis

·      Ability to read, understand, and explain contract documentation; is able to articulate basic technical concepts, such as product specifications and functionality

·      Ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks/projects

·      Works within established guidelines to make decisions

·      Experience with CRM is required

·      Self-motivated and driven

Compensation & Benefits

·      Salary is based on experience and is a combination of base and commission

How We Work

This role can be based anywhere in the US. The whole team here at ROAR for Good is remote and work from home. We’ve been practicing the remote-first culture since before the pandemic with our beginnings starting in Philadelphia where we still have strong roots. We find being a 100% remote organization gives numerous benefits to our staff and the clients we work with. The majority of our work is done over the Microsoft365 suite and Teams.
