About Your Business Area/Department:
At the heart of it all is our Departure Control System (DCS) Flight Management, a mission-critical platform that supports over 150 airlines and enables 1 billion passengers to check in and board every year. It's not just software; it's the backbone of global air travel.
Summary of the role:
We're looking for a Scrum Master to join our Feature Team in Bogota. This isn't about maintaining legacy systems, it's about driving Agile delivery, leading our SAFe transformation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
As a Scrum Master, you'll play a key role in shaping how we build and deliver features that directly impact the travel experience of millions. You'll work closely with passionate engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure our teams are empowered, focused, and aligned.

In this role you'll:
- Accelerate the flow of value delivery at Agile team level, through embracing and promoting Lean-Agile values and principles.
- Facilitate the Feature Team and train ceremonies, act as guardian of Scrum/Kanban/SAFe artifacts, communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risks, and strive for robust, continuous improvement.
- Support the team on implementing the Scrum and Kanban frameworks regarding the business context.
- Promote and teach agile practices within the team to optimize the flow of value.
- (ceremonies, estimation, artifacts, continuous improvement, built-in quality).
- Encourage collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
- Foster an environment of mutual influence, encourage personal development, and support the commitment made by the Agile Feature Team.
- Participate in Scrum Master Communities of Practice and other relevant CoPs (Quality, DevOps, etc.).
- Follow and communicate key Agile team execution metrics.
- Facilitate all ceremonies at teams' level (Sprint planning, review, retrospective, daily standup).
- Actively prepare and participate in all team ceremonies at Train level (PI planning, System demo, ART sync).
- Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices.
- Work with Product Owners, Epic owners, and other stakeholders to help fill the backlog and demonstrate Agile mindset.
- Work with other Scrum Masters/POs to drive improvements in ways of working.
- Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings.
- Gather team pain points and formulate them as risks.
- Drive relentless improvement via retrospectives; assess the agility level of the Agile Feature Team and help them improve.
About the ideal candidate:
- A degree in Engineering or industry-related field experience in the airline industry.
- +3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in agile
- Interest in Agile feature development and understanding of the dynamics of cross-functional feature teams.
- Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to act as coach, trainer and facilitator.
- Good communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Change management and flexibility.
- Relationships and team building.
- Knowledge of the Airline industry, the Altéa Suite, and the Departure Control System is a plus.
