Introduction
As a Market Manager for Emerging Portfolio you will be based in the UAE and lead our efforts to grow this key portfolio across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
In this Role, you'll get to:
- Develop business strategies to achieve growth targets and expand inventory coverage for the Tier 3 Hotels portfolio (Emerging Cities) across the MEA region.
- Understand market landscapes to identify challenges and opportunities through data analysis, market analysis, and market research.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including property management companies and travel partners, to develop the assigned areas; organize destination workshops and attend industry exhibitions as needed.
- Maintain and enhance existing partnerships, monitor performance, provide ongoing support, and grow revenue within the assigned portfolio.
- Demonstrate knowledge of technical integrations across various software and channel manager partners.
- Take a customer-centric approach to all activities. Ensure hotel content, rates, availability, and products align with company objectives and standards, delivering the best value to Trip.com customers.
- Work closely with regional teams, operations, and other cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and recommended solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
What you'll Need to Succeed
- Fluency in Arabic and English .
- Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
- A team player with a driven, "get it done" attitude.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Creative, innovative, and capable of driving and managing change.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, business development, or revenue/yield management within the online travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry.
