SummaryJoin us at Hyatt Regency Austin for an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic and diverse Housekeeping team. With our newly transformed and elevated guest rooms, we are seeking a strategic and high-energy Executive Housekeeper to elevate the guest experience and drive excellence across our operations.
The Executive Housekeeper oversees all aspects of the hotel's housekeeping operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role involves strategic planning, staff development, interdepartmental coordination, and operational execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with department heads, team members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead short- and long-term planning for housekeeping operations and guest room preventative maintenance.
- Develop and manage budgets, labor cost plans, and departmental objectives.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of housekeeping and laundry supplies.
- Train staff on guest interaction standards and service excellence.
- Implement and uphold a rigorous room inspection program.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security, OSHA, and ADA policies.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to support hotel-wide initiatives.
- Conduct daily room inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Manage procurement of linens and supplies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
- Stay current with housekeeping and laundry technologies.
- Partner with vendors to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and equipment maintenance.
- Mentor and lead a multilingual, multicultural team with empathy and professionalism.
- Oversee turndown service and accommodate special requests for VIP guests and dignitaries.
- Maintain staffing levels aligned with service goals and guest expectations.
- Coach and counsel team members to uphold Hyatt's service standards and procedures.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in hotel Rooms Management, preferably within the Hyatt brand or a comparable hospitality environment.
- Service-driven mindset with polished and professional presentation skills.
- Degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated strengths in high energy leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, team motivation, and effective communication.
- Track record of delivering exceptional guest service while driving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative capabilities.
