Experience Required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in golf retail, luxury retail, or club merchandising is preferred.
• Strong background in customer service, sales, and merchandising strategies.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage special orders with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in retail management software and point of sale systems

This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience for members and guests through outstanding customer service, personalized merchandising, and efficient special-order management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the golf retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Member Engagement
• Provide concierge-level service, ensuring members and guests receive personalized attention.
• Develop relationships with members to anticipate their retail needs and offer tailored recommendations.
• Handle all inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally, ensuring follow-ups are timely and thorough.

Merchandising & Product Management

• Oversee the selection and presentation of premium golf and lifestyle merchandise to align with member preferences.
• Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing shop, using strategic displays to enhance sales.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure a curated, high-quality product mix that reflects seasonal trends.

Special Orders & Inventory Management

• Manage all special orders, from placement to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficient fulfillment.
• Track orders and proactively communicate updates to members, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock assessments, and manage reorders to minimize shortages and excess.

Sales & Business Development

• Implement strategies to drive retail sales growth, including promotions, trunk shows, and exclusive shopping events.
• Analyze sales trends and member purchasing behavior to optimize product selection and pricing.
• Work closely with the Golf Professional staff to integrate retail offerings with club events and tournaments.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and vendor transactions.
• Ensure compliance with club policies and industry best practices for retail operations.
• Train and mentor staff to uphold high standards of customer service and merchandising.
