Maryland Golf and Country Clubs is a member-owned private country club and is widely considered the premier hospitality organization in Harford County, MD. Our membership enjoys first-class golf, pool, tennis, dining, and beverage facilities supported by an experienced and talented team of managers and professionals. The Club is open year-round, 6-7 days per week, including major holidays.

This is a tremendous and unique opportunity to lead the golf team at one of the Baltimore area's premier private clubs. Maryland Golf & Country Clubs serves more than 650 member families, with 350 golf members, and provides gracious service in an inviting, family-focused atmosphere.

We are seeking an experienced PGA Golf Professional with impeccable professional references who is ready to become an integral leader in our golf operations. This is a nationwide search, and relocation assistance may be offered to the right candidate.

Experience Required

• Qualifications
  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional at a private club or golf-centric resort
  • PGA Class A member in good standing
  • Strong leadership presence: professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
  • Demonstrated passion for exceptional member service
  • Proficiency with technology: POS systems, MS Word, Excel, and golf operations software
  • Professional appearance befitting a premier country club
  • Proven expertise in golf instruction and ability to develop player improvement programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Business acumen: scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and financial statement management
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Stable work history with progressive career development
