In addition to investing in our team, the Membership continues to heavily invest in the Club, recently completing a $34 million-dollar clubhouse renovation to include casual and formal dining areas, a magnificent 300-seat ballroom, lounge areas, a spa and salon, tennis pavilion, 12,000-foot wellness center, and expanded retail golf shop. Additionally, the expansive practice area and two 18-hole, championship golf courses designed by Arthur Hills, were re-grassed during the renovation and are meticulously maintained providing a uniquely challenging golf experience.

Quail West is currently looking for a full-time, Assistant Golf Professional with a strong desire to be part of a great team and community.

Experience Required

• At least 1 year of experience working at a private club is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and instruction.
• Experience in organizing and coordinating golf events.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in golf-related software and technology.
• A passion for promoting the game, especially among women.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, as golf events sometimes occur during non-traditional hours.

Essential Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities of the Assistant Golf Professional will include:

• Planning, coordinating, scheduling and executing events, tournaments, and activities.
• Managing event registrations, pairings, and scoring, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Providing exceptional customer service to our members, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
• Fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members.
• Assisting with the budgeting, entry fee billing and prize distribution for all events.
• Providing support and assistance with club events.
• Supporting the golf shop staff with retail sales and member questions.

The Assistant Golf Professional will embody the following:

• Be a leader, team player, and team builder
• Collaborate with all staff to deliver a first-class experience to members and guests.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, personable, professional, patient, and respectful
• Self-motivated with the desire to improve and advance their career as a PGA or LPGA Professional
• Must have a Servant's Heart and understand we are in the service and hospitality business
• Have excellent written and verbal skills
• Possess above average organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Teaching opportunities available
• Knowledge of Foretees, Jonas, and Golf Genius a huge plus
