Thompson Palm Springs is recruiting for an enthusiastic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join the hotel's F&B leadership team.

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will support all food and beverage outlets within the hotel operated by Hyatt which will include:

• Lola Rose, Grand Mezze- three meal restaurant & lounge
• In-Room Dining- Offering breakfast, lunch & dinner
• Pool food and beverage service
• Responsible for the short- and long-term planning of the restaurant
• Ensure effective hiring, training, development and promotion of team
• Lead and coach team towards achieving exceptional guest services and colleague satisfaction results
• Full understanding of Colleague engagement
• Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance
• Plan, coordinate & manage special events and holiday functions
• Ability to take the initiative to run the outlets as a free-standing entity

This is an exempt (salaried) role. The budgeted salary range for this position is $66,560 to $78,000. This is the pay range for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education

• A desire to exceed guest expectations
• Full Time Management Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule
• Previous Assistant Restaurant Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or supervisory experience preferred
• Proficient computer knowledge, including working knowledge of point of sales systems
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized, have strong leadership skills and possess a strong food and beverage knowledge.
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service
